. The way mom used to clean/decorate the house and finally as a gesture to welcome Goddess Lakshmi a rangoli was made at the entrance. As children @kamini_dango and myself were always flattered by the art of making rangoli. Initially we just used to watch her mesmerised by the colours and the art. Later we started helping her out, and now we have carried the values of making rangoli with us and take it as a challenge trying to make a better one each year. We love to decorate the varanda with rangoli at the New Year Eve and sometimes we ourselves are in Aww watching the final design. . . We still can't figure out how to top our last year's game!
