I used to feel like I was dancing fine, but something felt very off! No matter how clean my steps were, I wasn’t making an impact. Until I realized dancing is more than just movements. It’s about how you make people feel when they watch you 💃🔥 Here’s what I changed: 1. Your own Style over Perfection In dance, style isn’t just how you move it’s how you bring the movement to life. Even when performing a choreographer’s routine, embracing your own style is what sets you apart. It’s not about changing the steps, but about adding your personality, energy, and flavor to them. That’s where true connection and individuality shines!! 🤌🏼 2. Expression over Execution I used to perform with my body, but not with my face. Now, I make every performance an emotion story. Even a simple glance or smile can hit harder than a complicated choreo 😍 3. Well distributed Energy over Just Hype I used to think power = Best dancer. No!! But what changed my game was understanding control in the energy I put in every step. Pacing. Breath. Stillness. Every move with intention & power. That’s what makes people feel something when you dance with required energy equally distributed throughout the choreography! ✅ These 3 changes helped me evolve from someone who just danced…to someone who moved the room 🔥🔥 If you feel like something’s missing in your performance try shifting your focus from just steps…to the soul of the performance ❤️ Follow @mithalishetty03 for tutorials & dance contents.
