Story time 😎 And I still remember when even walking 10 steps felt impossible. After our accident in January 2023, I was diagnosed with a spinal injury and was paralysed from the waist down. Spinal surgery followed—and I was told it might take 9–10 months just to *maybe* get movement again. Physiotherapy was my only way forward. The recovery began with electrical shocks to my legs, trying to get them to respond. My left leg gave us hope… but the right one? Completely uncooperative! We had to teach my legs how to walk again—like a child learning for the first time. Except this time, there was no strength. No support. Just willpower. I’ll never forget the day I managed those first 3–4 steps with a walker. We all cried. It was everything. From those few steps, I made it to 10… From the walker to a stick… From a stick to walking 20 minutes on the treadmill. And now? I’m dancing. I’m living. I’m healing. I’m beyond grateful.
