I was reading the Ikigai. A book about the Japanese secret about leading a long and healthy life. I fell in love with the book. Ogimi, Okinawa and its citizens have given my life a new breeze off air. They believe that there is a passion inside us, a unique talent that gives meaning to our days and drives you to share the best of yourself until the very end. If we don’t know what our ikigai is yet, as Viktor Frankl says, our mission is to discover it. I started reading about Okinawa. What an amazing island it is, with centenarians living a happy life. What I discovered was amazing. They created a beautiful Okinawan glass (Ryukyu glass) which have a chunky thickness. The bubbly bottles, which look like carbonated beverages, and are made entirely from recycled glass. Imagine, what started in World War 2, is currently one of the most beautiful forms of glass.
