#throwbackshimladiaries❤️ Mother daughter jodi ❣️ The OG vacation plan went for a toss courtesy Operation Sindoor which left the little one heart broken but I made her understand why is this happening and how necessary it was for our country . Though too young to comprehend she tried to understand the gravity of the situation and put up a brave front by being OK if we didn’t manage a vacation this year . Once things settled down we rescheduled our trip but this time we were cautious with our excitement levels because we didn’t wish to be disappointed once again . The trip started with Shimla where we were greeted with a drizzle of summer rain bringing a much needed respite from the scorching Mumbai heat ❣️The best part was our stay at a heritage hotel where spoiling guests was their favourite past time ; Everything was excellent !❣️ Being a shopaholic that I’m I headed straight to Mall Road to satiate my shopping urge and walked the entire stretch twice scanning for various articles . We didn’t even realise when we ended up walking over 5 kms cos the weather was so pleasant thanks to the cool breeze after the little drizzle. This image is a shot while we were both soaking in the moment enjoying a beautiful sunset and thanking god that we finally made it to the mountains !!
