The best age to travel with your baby? 3 to 6 months. Here’s why this stage is a total game-changer (speaking from experience 👶✈️): 1. They’re still portable! You can easily carry them in a sling or stroller, no chasing around airports or hotel rooms. 2. Naps come easy. At this age, babies nap frequently and can sleep on the go, in your arms, on flights, or in carriers. 3. No solids = no food fuss. Breastfeeding or formula feeding is simple and mess-free. No high chairs, baby spoons, or travel meals to pack. 4. Fewer tantrums, more cuddles. They’re still too young for separation anxiety or meltdowns — just comfort, smiles, and snuggly naps. 5. Lighter packing. You don’t need toys, teethers, or feeding accessories yet. Diapers, wipes, clothes, and love — that’s mostly it. 6. They adjust better to new environments. Keep their routine familiar (feeds, naps, cuddles) and they’ll likely feel secure and settled. 7. They’re less exposed. With limited mobility and contact, they’re less likely to pick up germs compared to toddlers constantly touching things. 🎒 We traveled with Teertha at this stage and it honestly felt smoother than expected.
