Hailing from Satara, Priyanka’s early training as a dancer laid the foundation for her mountaineering prowess. With her passion ignited, she completed advanced mountaineering courses, preparing herself for the world’s highest peaks. ▪️In 2012, she scaled her first peak, a 6,200-meter giant. At just 20, she faced Everest—a testament to her unwavering spirit. But the mountains are capricious. ▪️In 2014, an avalanche halted her Makalu attempt. Undeterred, Priyanka’s resilience shone through. The setback became a chapter etched in her determination. ▪️In 2018, she became the youngest Indian woman to reach Mt. Lhotse (8,516 meters). ▪️In 2019, she conquered Makalu (8,483 meters), becoming the first Indian woman to do so. She danced with the mountains, each step a choreographed movement. Priyanka’s journey exemplifies the power of dreams. Obstacles became stepping stones, refining her spirit.
