A tribute to every man of Kashmir, who walks out every morning in the cold or snow to get the bread(naan) and walk sometimes miles for it and give it to their family as a comfortable gift of breakfast and bear all the pain themselves and sacrifice their sleep every day. The biting wind howled, a banshee wailing through the snow-laden alleys of the Kashmiri village. Every breath was a struggle, each step a victory against the relentless winter. Yet, every morning, before the first rays of the reluctant sun dared to peek through the thick grey clouds, a small band of men would embark on their daily pilgrimage – a walk of several miles to the nearest bakery.
