“Skincare mistakes I wish I had known earlier and the products that helped me fix them! 💆‍♀️✨ I used to follow every trend and still struggled with breakouts, dullness, and sensitivity. Turns out, I was making these common skincare mistakes (maybe you are too 👀): 1️⃣ Over-exfoliating – Scrubs every day? Guilty. ✅ Now I use Minimalist 2% BHA 2-3 times a week. Gentle, effective & doesn’t strip my skin. 2️⃣ Skipping sunscreen – I thought I didn’t need it indoors 🤦‍♀️ ✅ Now I never skip La Shield SPF 40 or Neutrogena Ultra Sheer — trust me, your future skin will thank you. 3️⃣ Not removing makeup properly – Just washing my face wasn’t enough. ✅ Now I double cleanse with Garnier Micellar Water + Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser — it’s a must! 4️⃣ Popping pimples – Left me with spots and regret 😬 ✅ Now I use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc — clears up skin without harshness. 5️⃣ Skipping moisturizer for oily skin – Huge mistake! ✅ Now I hydrate with Simple Light Moisturiser — lightweight but effective. 6️⃣ Using too many actives at once – My skin barrier was crying. ✅ Now I keep it simple & consistent — cleanse, treat, moisturize, protect. ✨ Skincare doesn’t need to be complicated — just right for your skin and done consistently.
