Congress’ recent post saying “B for Beedi, B for Bihar” has triggered massive outrage. The post was part of Congress’ supposed “ABCs of Politics” campaign, where they tried to use wordplay on states and issues. But in doing so, they reduced Bihar — a land of culture, history, and hardworking people — to just beedi. This isn’t creativity, this is clear insult. By equating Bihar with beedis, Congress has mocked the dignity, identity, and contribution of crores of Biharis. This is the reality of Congress’ mindset — instead of respecting regional pride, they choose to ridicule it for cheap politics.
