This is known as Lakshmi ji ka mandana or Lakshmi ji ka pagliya mandana and is traditionally created at the spot where we perform Lakshmi Pooja. Some also place it at the entrance and other areas of the house. For those with shops, it’s made near the main seat nearby locker. This is made with geru and chuna and in different designs. It’s a beautiful Marwadi tradition! Let me know in the comments if you follow this custom too.
