Just Another Day in Pune - Every second lane in Pune feels like a construction site highway. Dusty dumpers, uncovered debris trucks, and zero regulation. No one to regulate the construction? - Pune’s new skyline isn’t buildings, it’s dust clouds. 💁🏻♀️ Not far when we all start carrying an inhaler with us. Open construction sites with no barricades, trucks running bare, and breaking India’s C&D and CPCB norms in style. Plus, poor air quality days are all climbing upward. The PMC’s own ESR shows a drop in “good air days” - PMC’s 2025 budget = ₹12,600 Cr. Property tax alone = ₹2,360 Cr. Yet citizens still wade through potholes & dust clouds daily. - Flyovers and metros rise, but sites remain open pits—no barricades, no safety nets, no dust control. Forget Smart City, Pune isn’t even meeting its own basic safety laws 🤦🏻♀️ - Pune has over 2,000 km of roads but only 16% have stormwater drains. No wonder half-hour rains still paralyze the city. - Pune potholes deserve their own pin code. Every monsoon they multiply, despite crores spent yearly on road repairs. Our vehicles pay the price. - Overloaded trucks roam free—no covers, no checks. They damage roads, worsen traffic, and choke citizens. But enforcement? Always missing in action - Not to mention the insane traffic issue. No traffic law enforecement. Traffic police are seen only during VIP movements #punecity #mypune
