It’s not just a fort—it’s the largest in India, spread over 700 acres, sitting proudly on a hill that overlooks the town. The moment you enter through its massive gates, it feels like stepping back in time. Inside, you’ll find palaces where Rajput rulers once lived, temples that are still active today, and towers that have stood for centuries. The most striking ones are the Vijay Stambh, or Tower of Victory, which celebrates a great Rajput triumph, and the Kirti Stambh, built in honor of Jain traditions. Both are beautifully carved and look especially magical during sunset.
