After hearing horror stories from travellers and avoiding Goa for a long long time, this visit was a pleasant surprise. This is our heritage walk in Fontainhas, old Goa that transported us to Lodhi Art District in Delhi and lanes of old Bikaner. A cluster of old Portuguese quarters painted in bright hues are a major tourist attraction in North Goa. The wall murals and European architecture add that beautiful rustic flavour of old times.
