They say that when you die, you see 7 seconds of your life. This moment will definitely make the cut. There I was standing at the UN 🇺🇳 Conference Centre in Bangkok, representing India 🇮🇳 with 200 brilliant minds from across the globe watching. I SPOKE AT THE UNITED NATIONS From Delhi 🇮🇳 to THE UN. 🇺🇳 Yes, I packed more dreams than outfits. (And yes, I’m still processing it.) My heart is full as I type that I spoke at the UN and was among the 14 speakers at this conference amongst 200+ delegates. None of this would have happened without @voiceforrightsinternational The night before the conference, the Director @kazamsyed53 of @voiceforrightsinternational looked at all of us and said: “When you speak at the UN, the world listens.” And all I could think was: God, I hope when I speak… the world actually listens. Next afternoon, I spoke. And in that moment, I wasn’t just speaking at the UN, I was speaking for every girl who’s ever wondered if her voice was loud enough, smart enough, worthy enough. Maybe the world 🌍 listened. Or maybe just one person did. Either way, I’ll keep speaking.
