Since 4th July, I’ve been on a nomadic journey, exploring the soul of my country - India. During my second volunteering assignment, I found myself at a homestay tucked deep inside Kanha National Park. What unfolded there was more than just a stay, it was an experience that touched every corner of my being. I connected with the local tribal villagers, felt the rhythm of nature, and even got my hands dirty cleaning the garden, digging the soil, and planting a bamboo tree that now stands as a small piece of me rooted in Kanha. What moved me was my host, who drove nearly 500 kilometers just to welcome me. Her dedication, the sweat and vision she poured into building this space, all to create a haven for travelers from across the world, left me deeply inspired. Together, we wandered, shared stories, and had long conversations about life, travel, and culture. House of Aranya isn’t just a homestay, it’s a heartfelt dream brought to life. A place that deserves a spot on your bucket list the next time you travel to Madhya Pradesh. The Picture and Music has a Connection.
