*Read Caption* Yesterday, I had an unsettling encounter while trying to rent out my camera. A guy responded to my OLX ad, claiming he needed it for two days. But things felt off right from the start. He was vague about the details and seemed dodgy when I asked about his knowledge of cameras. We agreed to meet at Andheri station, but he was late, blaming traffic. When he finally showed up, he said his son would be using the camera, but then couldn't get his son to come or even give a straight answer about him. When I asked for an ID, the name didn't match what he told me about his son. That's when alarm bells really started ringing. When I asked for an advance payment, he went outside and came back with money from someone else, claiming it was his friend. I felt something was seriously wrong, so I suggested we leave the McDonald's and walk towards the nearby police station. As soon as I mentioned this, he panicked and bolted. It was clear he was trying to scam me. It was a scary experience, but it taught me to trust my instincts and be extra cautious in these kinds of situations.
