Took a walking tour in Milan so you don’t have to : Things you should put on your list - - Talking through the walls quite literally at the Piazza Mercanti. It’s SO fascinating, they’re built it in a way so merchants/ bankers/ lawyers could secretly spill trade secrets and confidential information back in the day just whispering through a wall. -Spinning on a bull in Galleria Vittoria Emmanuel (spin three times and make a wish) - Go to Piazza della scala and see the Leonardo da vinci’s statute. - Go to the Starbucks it’s absolutely stunning and genuinely has great drinks and desserts which I don’t think usually is the case especially in India. I personally recommend getting the maritozzo it’s my new favourite dessert after tiramisù - Go to brera for some local shopping it’s super chic and if you’re into perfumes it’s got it in the bank. - We celebrated my dads birthday at ristorante con pizza & live music. Great food and vegan friendly. - For the night scene, I definitely would HIGHLY recommend navigli district. It’s got themed bars, live music, right by the river, shopping and just absolutely worth a night out. My favourite thing that I tried there is Hugo Spritz. - The giant marble middle finger is a controversial symbol in Piazza Affari it represents both a critique of the Fascist salute and that it is designed as a protest against financial institutions after the financial crisis of 2007–2008. - There’s obviously the Duomo the most important it’s taken 600 years to build and it’s still under constant construction. There are 3600 statutes and NOT ONE is the same. Europeans take their sweet time with cathedrals everywhere. - In terms of accommodation, we loved our stay at Leonardo hotel.
