As mums vacations can be a tad bit overwhelming! The packing, unpacking and constant checking that everyone’s doing fine becomes a daily chore on a vacation meant to wind down and relax! 5 things i did on my last family trip:- 1. I packed clothes for everyone in sets(as in packing an entire outfit) day wise to save time to decide and search for what works best! 2. I packed one sandal, one slip one and one outing shoe(less options lead to less stress for kids) all 3 were versatile with different outfits. 3. I made sure my son ate whole meals instead of in between junk and this really helped me to have less meltdowns and more fun( we had heavy breakfast and lunch on the beach/restaurants but kept the diet healthy and nutritious). 4. I made sure we stayed close to the beach so we could spend maximum time on the beach with Thor and really get that well needed family time(sometimes we played with him, while other times he played with his nanny and also made new friends whilst we pampered ourselves with massages on the beach) 5. My husband and u planned our night outs and limited it to 2 nights so that we could maximise family time but also could our `we’ time(essential to relax with your husband even on a dinner date or going for a concert) Please share how you manage to curb the stress on a holiday? As mums it can become super overwhelming catering to the needs of your family but a little but of planning and time out helps to curb the stress levels! As I’ve always said - you can only pour from a full cup! So fill your cup so that you can be and feel like the best version of yourself as mum, wife and woman!
