#unpopularopinon Yes, you read right! There’s no sure fire way to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. As stretch marks depends on a lot of factors , like - Genetics, Skin type, Skin Elasticity, Bump Growth during pregnancy etc. That said, there may be some ways to help early pregnancy stretch marks heal so as to minimize their appearance later on such as : - Drink loads of fluids ( I know that will increase your loo trips) . Not only does it help in baby’s development, but it also keeps your skin healthy. - Watch your diet and nutrition Your nutrition and hydration can help minimize stretch marks if they do start to show up, so keep eating nutrient dense foods, drink lots of water every day and take your prenatal supplements. - Keep your skin hydrated While there’s no guarantee that these “stretch mark” oil, lotions and creams will work, moisturizing is a great way to protect your skin’s elasticity. My recommendation here would be @themomsco no stretch mark oil and #biooil along with cold pressed coconut oil or almond oil to keep your belly moisturised. Lastly, the ultimate granny tip Resist the urge to scratch, instead apply oil or any moisturiser to find some relief. . . These are my two cents as per my experience. Hope it helps 🤌🏻 Just remember that stretch marks are a completely natural part of pregnancy and are nothing to be afraid/ashamed of ♥️ . .
