Living With Arushi #05 *Sympathy * Sympathy is the Enemy of Humility. Humble People show no sympathy. Because sympathy is shown only in cases where you consider yourself above someone. A case where you are at a giving/ powerful state. But in reality a Humble Person considers herself owning nothing. All she has, has been provided to her by the Universe and will be taken away at once. This really tells me that you can be humble and help without showing sympathy. Be humble in your thoughts, words and actions. You have travelled your path to get where you are. Others shall travel a different path to get there. We are all on our own set journeys towards the same end- Death. Everyone will get there. There is no comparison as to who died better after all. So sympathy really is not something anyone can really afford. Be Humble But Dont Show Sympathy. Sympathy makes you feel entitled to hold on to the good deed and keep score. This brings me to my next and favourite part- Death. The only time when your conscience really starts reminding you of the real scorecard of the good and bad you did on your journey.
