On May 26th, in the district of Muzaffarpur, a nine-year-old girl was raped and her neck was slit by the criminals. Local people took her to a hospital where doctors attended to her. However, her body was not responding to treatment, so she was referred to PMCH, Bihar's "Biggest" Hospital. There, she was allegedly denied any treatment or a bed for nine hours and died in the ambulance. Today, I ask the people, I ask the system: Why?
