20 Jun, 2025 CPCL Super 30 is a flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), in collaboration with Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL). This program is designed to provide free, high-quality residential coaching to economically underprivileged yet meritorious students from Tamil Nadu who aspire to crack competitive engineering entrance exams such as IIT-JEE. Launched in 2024, this is CPCL’s first Super 30 initiative in South India, operating out of the CPCL Polytechnic campus in Chennai. The program offers a fully-funded, one-year residential coaching facility, which includes expert instruction in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It not only provides academic support but also focuses on the holistic development of students through regular personality development sessions, motivational workshops, and close mentorship. The initiative aims to create a disciplined and nurturing environment where students can focus solely on their academic growth without worrying about financial constraints. Selection into CPCL Super 30 is competitive and primarily based on academic merit and socio-economic background. The students selected receive comprehensive support, including free study materials, accommodation, meals, and continuous academic guidance. The program is modeled on the success of similar Super 30 projects across the country and aims to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by empowering deserving students with the tools needed to succeed in national-level engineering entrance examinations. With strong backing from CPCL leadership and collaboration with CSRL’s operational expertise, CPCL Super 30 stands as a powerful example of how corporate initiatives can drive social transformation by investing in education and youth potential.
