At Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield, I found myself in the middle of something quietly historic — the launch of Amrut’s 50th Single Malt, crafted exclusively for Zarf, the hotel’s Indian fine dining destination. A private label. A first of its kind. History, poured into a glass. The liquid spoke for itself — I’m not always a whisky girl, but this one made me pause and actually savour the moment. There’s something about sipping a malt that was made with this much intention that just hits differently. And then the evening took it a step further — a stunning fashion walk curated by Prasad Bidapa, with designs by Hemant Trevedi, where every silhouette and shade felt like it was drawn from the whisky itself.
