Day 10 of my Surya Namaskar challenge 🌞 60 rounds done — and something has shifted, not just in my body, but inside me. Physically, yes, I can feel the obvious changes. My stamina has improved, my joints feel warmer and more open, my breath feels deeper and more rhythmic, and my body doesn’t resist movement the way it did on Day 1. There’s strength building quietly, without force. There’s flexibility coming in without struggle. But what’s surprising me the most are the emotional changes. Somewhere between those repetitive movements and steady breaths, my mind has started to soften. I’m less reactive. Things that would usually trigger irritation or overwhelm now pass with a little more space. I feel calmer, more grounded, and emotionally steadier through the day. It’s like every round is gently releasing stored tension — not just from muscles, but from emotions I didn’t even know I was holding. Surya Namaskar has started to feel like a moving meditation. A daily reminder to show up, even when motivation is low. To stay consistent, even when perfection is missing. To breathe through discomfort instead of running away from it — on the mat and off it. 60 rounds today felt less about counting and more about connecting. Connecting to my breath. Connecting to my inner rhythm. Connecting back to myself. This challenge is slowly teaching me that healing doesn’t always come as a big breakthrough. Sometimes it comes as a quiet sense of emotional balance, a calmer nervous system, and the ability to meet life with a little more grace. Day 10 done.
