I spent my day at National Zoological Park (Delhi Zoo), New Delhi — and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most peaceful, grounding solo dates I’ve had in a while 🌿 The zoo is beautifully maintained, clean, organised, and felt completely safe. What really made the experience effortless was the battery-operated car service — it’s paid, but totally worth it. It works like a hop-on, hop-off ride from entry to exit. You can get down wherever you want, take your time at any enclosure, and there’s almost always another car waiting. I never waited more than a few seconds. From lush green spaces, well-kept animal enclosures, migratory birds, to shaded benches where you can just sit and breathe — this place is perfect if you want nature without exhaustion. BUT… nobody warned me about the monkeys 😭 Absolute gangsters. Stealing juices, chasing people, climbing trees with their loot like they own the place 🐒 Entertainment guaranteed. 💰 Cost breakup (solo visit): • Zoo entry ticket: ₹80 • Battery car service: ₹85 ➡️ Total: ₹165 In today’s world, ₹165 for a calm, nature-filled reset feels like a steal.
