Our 4th Schengen Visa application in the last 6 years!!! 😅 And this time, we got it with a 3 years Validity! 🥰 How? It’s a patient game! 1st application: 2021 - we got a visa for 6 months, and explored 3 countries! 2nd application 2022 - we got a visa for 1 year! 3rd application 204 - we got a visa for 2 years! 4th application 2026 - now a visa for 3 years! Low key I hoped for a 5 years visa this time 😂 But nevertheless - always grateful for the good things that happen. I am totally aware of the number of rejections that are happening for Schengen, and I’ve seen that closely with my friends too. So I know 1 thing for sure - there is no secret/guaranteed recipe for Schengen visa approvals! There are so many factors why they approve and reject visas, and there’s very little we can do beyond solid documentation! However, a few reasons that I have noticed in rejected visa applications are: ⁃ Insufficient bank balance ⁃ Irregular transactions in your 3 months bank statement (yes they thoroughly scan your whole statement) ⁃ Weak itinerary / travel documents ⁃ Not showing strong business operations/connection in India ⁃ Your Age also influences their decision And this is just the tip of the iceberg! I’m not here to share any full proof cover letter or document list or a strategy to guarantee a Schengen visa - because I know for a fact that there isn’t - and if someone is guaranteeing you one, then it’s a gimmick.
