Been 10 years already? 2016 was the year I got into makeup. Ate a lot of pasta, clicked way too many selfies with Snapchat filters, coloured my hair for the first time, and started calling myself Moyurakkhii instead of Mayurakshi. It was also when I started following YouTube tutorials — me and @banerjeesreejita would literally buy products off YouTubers’ recommendations. Funnily enough, that was also the year I asked @zico_ghosh why people smoke. Me and @doinggreat_butnotokk still talk about that night we were made to do our Bangla homework twice, the night before my birthday. That was also the year I actually started looking forward to going to school.
