@samsungindia Appreciate mother nature at its best 15 km from #Shillong in #Meghalaya, at Umiam #Lake. This lake is basically a reservoir upstream of the Umiam River. It is more easily recognized as Bara Pani, and it covers an area of about 220 square kilometres. The surrounding sylvan hills and verdant Khasi pines add to the majesty of this vast lake. Although initially established as a dam, it is now a popular tourist attraction. It is also known for its water sports and adventure facilities such as kayaking, water biking, water biking, water biking, scooter racing, and boating.
