Welcome to Tadoba 4 safaris booked for a tiger… but what we got was even wilder. We witnessed a leopard road show for 15 straight minutes in Moharli. No interruption. No noise. Just pure magic. That kind of spotting is rare. Same safari, we also spotted a bear. Other safaris gave us sambars, Indian bison, owls, jungle life, jeep trails, tiger pugmarks… and a little heartbreak, because we noticed a pattern tiger sightings are getting tougher here. A lot of tigers have been relocated, so spotting probability is low right now. Also, in tiger safari, luck matters — but a smart guide and driver matter more. We understood this clearly at Junona gate, where we had one of our worst safari experiences. No tigers this time. But I’m coming back in summer — and bookings start early. Now the best part.
