After a hectic getaway to Goa and Bombay, and then dropping my son back to cal on the 5th day and then flying after a 2 hour halt to have some adult time with my husband was nothing short of fun, love and madness. I feel truly blessed that I love being a mom as much as i love being myself and striking that balance between both is something that is of utmost importance to me. Family is everything and sometimes maintaining your authentic self within that is essential to be able to be a better mother and person! That’s why i always talk about how motherhood and womanhood for me sort of stimulate the other to be better and vice versa without taking away responsibility from the other. Children should see their mothers be ever so responsible and productive whilst also being so much fun and light! We have to inculcate in our children to work hard, be responsible and let your hair down every now and again. I’m blessed to have my partner support me through it all and so many others who contribute to me being able to live my life literally on my terms!
